People who always feel frustrated with busy traffic can now buy a flying car to escape from it all. A real-life flying car designed and made by an American company will be sold starting from 2015.

The Transition looks like it belongs in a cartoon. It has four small wheels, two seats and a pair of wings that unfolds when flying. During a test flight last year, the car flew at a height of nearly 430 meters for 8 minutes. Big airplanes fly at heights of more than 1,000 meters.

Not everyone, however, will be able to drive the Transition. Owners must first have a pilot’s license, more than 20 hours of flying experience and pass a flight test. But for those who are qualified to drive the world’s first flying car, you can expect to drive at speeds of up to 112km per hour on the road and 185km per hour in the air.

붐비는 교통 때문에 답답한 사람들을 위한 비행 자동차가 곧 판매 될 예정이다. 실제 비행이 가능한 이 자동차는 미국 회사에서 디자인과 제조했는데 2015년 출시 예정이다.

<트랜지션> 란 이름을 가진 비행 자동차는 만화에서 나온 듯한 발명품이다. 4개의 작은 바퀴 외 비행 중 펼쳐지는 한 쌍의 날개를 가진 2인승 자동차이다. 작년에 실험 비행을 실행했을 때 8분 동안 430 미터 높이를 비행했었다. 상업용 비행기는 약 1,000미터 높이에서 비행한다.

하지만 <트랜지션>은 누구나 운전할 수 있는 자동차는 아니다. 이 차를 소유하기 위해서 여러 조건이 있는데 조종사 자격면허증이 있어야 하며 20시간 비행 경험과 비행 시험 또한 합격해야 한다. 모든 조건을 충족하는 사람들은 도로에서는 시속 112km에, 비행 시속 185km가 되는 세계 최소의 비행 자동차를 몰수 있다.
