The 9th annual Korea Education Fair was held from January 18 to 20 at the COEX Exhibition Center in Seoul. This year, the fair focused on secondary school subjects, such as music, art, and sports, which have not been present in previous years.

The Korea Education Fair 2012 is the leading trade show in Korea. This event is backed by some major companies, schools, and officials. More than 26,000 people showed up, and over 150 people participated, bringing with them exciting new material we can all learn from. It showcased state-of-the-art, educational technology and solutions to some age-old problems.

Last year, the education fair’s theme was English and other foreign languages. This year’s event was a bit more exciting. The theme was “New Start toward Smart Education!” This meant that people were aiming to do everything smarter, even the little things. An example of a product that every teacher may want is the clean chalkboard eraser. It’s a chalkboard eraser that does not produce any dust. As chalk dust can be very bad for children’s health, especially when they are young, the chalkboard eraser may be a highly desirable product.

You would think that an education fair would be boring and that everything there was meant to help you study harder. The good news is that it wasn’t like that at all. There were instruments, sports equipment, and even robots. Kids actually wanted to study and learn how to use the robots and instruments. The fair was a very creative way to get children interested in studying. An exhibit that really showed this was the I-ROBO Educational Robot Series. This company used gearboxes, pulleys, computerized motors, and other gadgets to create robots that kids could program manually. They could also build the outer structure to their own liking, which would increase their level of creative thinking as well as organization.

It was nice that this education fair wasn’t all about intense studying and notebooks. Education and studying are important, but relieving stress through music or sports is equally important. It was cool to see kids enjoying the event as well as adults. This fair was really a great way to show people that education can be fun, too. 

2012년 교육 박람회

1월 18일부터 20일까지 서울 코엑스에서 제 9회 한국교육박람회가 열렸다. 올해, 박람회는 음악, 미술, 스포츠와 같은 중등학교의 교과목에 초점을 맞추었다.

2012년 한국 교육박람회는 한국의 주요 무역 박람회이다. 이 행사는 주요 기업, 학교, 그리고 공공기관의 후원을 받는다. 2만6천명 이상의 사람들이 박람회를 방문했으며 150명 이상의 사람들이 우리가 함께 배울 수 있는 재미있는 신소재를 가지고 이 박람회에 참가했다.

박람회에서는 오랜 문제점들을 해결해 줄 수 있는 최신식의, 교육적인 기술들과 해결책을 선보였다. 지난해, 교육 박람회의 주제는 영어와 다른 외국어였다.

올해 행사는 좀 더 흥미있었다. 주제는 “스마트 교육을 향한 새로운 출발”이었다. 이것은 사람들이 모든 것을, 아주 작은 것들 조차 더 똑똑하게 하게 하는 것을 목표로 한다는 것이다.

모든 선생님들이 바라는 상품의 한 예로는 깨끗한 칠판 지우개가 있다. 그것은 분필 가루가 날리지 않는 칠판 지우개이다.

분필가루는 어린이들의 건강에 아주 해로울 수 있기 때문에, 특히 어린이들에게 해로울 수 있어서, 칠판 지우개는 굉장히 관심을 끄는 상품일 수 있다. 당신은 교육 박람회는 지루하며 그곳의 모든 것들은 당신이 공부를 열심히 하게하는 것이라고 생각할지 모른다. 좋은 소식은 꼭 그렇지만은 않다라는 것이다.

박람회에는 악기, 스포츠 장비 그리고 로봇도 있었다. 어린이들은 실제로 로봇과 악기를 어떻게 사용하는지 배우고 공부하고 싶어했다.

박람회는 어린이들에게 공부에 흥미를 느끼게 할 수 있는 창의적인 방법이었다. 이것을 보여준 것이 아이로보 교육 로봇 시리즈였다.

그 회사는 어린이들이 직접 프로그램할 수 있는 로봇을 만들기 위해 변속기, 도르래, 컴퓨터화된 자동차, 그리고 다른 기기들을 사용했다. 그들은 또한 체계성뿐 아니라 창의적인 사고의 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 그들 자신이 좋아하는 외형을 만들 수 있다.

이 교육 박람회가 단지 강도 높은 공부에 관한 것이 아니었다는 점이 좋았다. 교육과 공부는 중요하지만, 음악이나 스포츠를 통해 스트레스를 푸는 것도 똑같이 중요하다.
이 행사를 즐기는 것은 어른 뿐 아니라 아이들도 마찬가지였다.

박람회는 교육이 즐거울 수 있다는 것을 사람들에게 보여준 좋은 방법이었다.
