A large number of good Korean schools, ones that helped make positive changes to Korea’s education system and attempted to cultivate global talent, gathered together last week at the 2011 Korean Good School Expo2011 대한민국 좋은 학교 박람회. The event, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology교육과학기술부, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education인천광역시교육청, and Korea Broadcasting System (KBS), was held at the Kintex building in Ilsan. On September 23, staff reporters from The Teen Times paid a visit to the exhibition.

At the expo, 170 schools were given their own booths to promote and highlight their skills. They also had a lot of material that contained useful information about their schools. Students were able to get information on all types of schools, including ones that offer creative education and state-of-the-art facilities, from kindergarten to high school. These schools may help students achieve their dreams. There was also an opportunity for parents to meet with representatives from various schools, including principals and teachers, who politely answered questions.

In addition, educational experts gave well-organized lectures and seminars on diverse topics such as leadership and the college admissions system. They were extremely helpful to parents of middle and high school students. There were interesting performances as well, such as a rock concert, a belly dance, and music by a student choir. There was also a face painting booth, remote-controlled robots, and many other kid-friendly activities at the expo.

The expo was successful and beneficial for those who wanted to learn about Korea’s education system, which is improving every year. Overall, the variety of exciting educational programs and promotions based on the strengths of each school were absolutely remarkable. Let’s hope that the good schools in Korea become the best schools in the world someday. 

좋은 학교 박람회

지난주 열린 2011년 대한민국 좋은 학교 박람회에는 한국 교육 시스템의 긍정적인 변화를 시도하며 글로벌 재능을 발굴하려 노력한 많은 한국의 학교들이 참석했다.

교육과학기술부, 인천광역시교육청, 그리고 KBS에 의해 후원을 받은 이번 행사는 일산 킨텍스에서 열렸다.

9월 23일, 틴타임스의 기자들이 전시회에 방문했다. 전시회에는 170여 개의 학교들이 각각의 부스에서 그들의 솜씨 홍보했다. 또한 그들 학교에 대한 유용한 정보를 가지고 있는 자료를 가지고 있었다.

학생들은 창의적이며, 최신식 설비를 제공하는 유치원부터 고등학교까지 모든 학교에 관한 정보를 얻을 수 있었다. 이 학교들은 학생들이 그들의 목표를 성취하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

또한 부모님에게는 여러 학교에서 온 교장선생님과 선생님을 포함한 대표들과 만날 수 있는 기회가 주어졌는데, 그들은 정중히 질문에 대답했다. 더군다나, 교육 전문가들은 리더십과 대학 입학 제도와 같은 다양한 주제에 관한 잘 구성된 강의와 세미나를 했다.
