Once upon a time, there lived a poor pig family. Mom sent her three little pigs away to find a new home.

“Find a house of bricks, my little children. Don’t talk to a wolf if you see one on your way,”Mom said.

The three little pigs said goodbye to Mom and went on their way. They walked and walked and passed a forest. Then they saw a wolf following them.

“Where are you going, little pigs?”said the wolf.

The three little pigs didn’t answer and just kept on walking. The wolf kept on following them from behind.

The three little pigs found a house of straw. They went right in because the wolf was still following them. Along came the wolf. “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in. I have a nice treat for you,”he said. The three little pigs didn’t say a word.

Then the wolf huffed and puffed, and he blew the house down. The three little pigs ran as fast as their little legs could carry them.

Then, the three little pigs found a house of sticks. They went right in because the wolf was still following them. Along came the wolf. “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in. I have a nice treat for you,”he said. The three little pigs didn’t say a word. Then the wolf huffed and puffed, and he blew the house down. The three little pigs ran as fast as their little legs could carry them.

Finally, the three little pigs found a house of bricks. They went right in because the wolf was still following them. Along came the wolf.

“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in. I have a nice treat for you,”he said. The three little pigs didn’t say a word. Then the wolf huffed and puffed. He blew as hard as he could to blow the house down.

But the house of bricks was strong. He tried to blow some more, but it didn’t work, so he returned back to the forest. The three little pigs lived there happily ever after and thanked their wise Mom.
