Psy’s music video had the most number of hits worldwide. According to YouTube’s ‘Most Viewed Video’ chart, Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ music video ranked number one as of July 24. His other music video ‘Gentleman’ also ranked tenth on the chart. In fact, Psy is in the top ten twice.

Psy’s record this time round has a different significance. This is because YouTube’s ‘Most Viewed Video’ chart uses an aggregation system that includes video statistics that go right back to the moment the site was first made. Psy is the first Korean singer to have ranked within the top ten twice.

Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ video which had a record 1.7 billion views beat Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ by a mile. ‘Gentleman’ currently ranked at number 10, has approximately 490 million views.

Psy’s ‘Gentleman’ has also had a long run. It has been on the UK’s Single Chart for 15 weeks and US Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for 14 weeks. Currently Psy is working on a new song in the US.
