Both of them showed expectations and interests in Korean culture, despite being on a tight schedule. “I was really impressed by so many people welcoming us at the airport. I don’t know a lot about Korea but the ‘Bibimbab’ that I had on the airplane was so delicious, I want to try it once more before going back,” Lautner explained with regards to their first impressions of Korea.
When asked about the new film Lautner explained, “It is a story for everyone. It has action, romance, suspense, everything. I truly believe that the story is universal.” He added, “The pressure from the success of the two previous movies encouraged everyone on the set to work harder.”
The first two Twilight movies, released in 2009, hit record highs in the movie industry.
With the third installment it is the love triangle between Bella (Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Lautner) that will surely capture the imagination of many. These conflicting relationships are set to reach a peak in Eclipse, as Stewart explained; “Bella and Jacob kiss on top of a mountain, without knowing that Edward is watching them. It is the most memorable scene.” The actress added that she felt the same way about love as her character does, and is reluctant to take the easy way with love and relationships.
